Mrs. Christine Barnett has been the Asst. Supt. for Human Relations and Labor Relations for over 20 years. Her responsibilities include hiring teachers and staff, negotiating contracts, and acting as in-house legal counsel. She has earned a Bachelor of Arts in psychology and a Master of Arts degree in counseling; both from Oakland University. She also received a Juris Doctor, from Michigan State University. Before working in Bloomfield Hills, Mrs. Barnett worked both in Genesee and Oakland Counties' court systems working with children who had been neglected or violated the law. Mrs. Barnett also has experiences representing school districts and companies such as General Motors. The EHMS Winners Circle is a before school program where students are given the opportunity to hear from guest speakers on goal setting and overcoming difficulties so they can reach their fullest potential.
