G. Request to Approve Purchase of Land from the Michigan Department of Transportation

I recommend that the Board of Education approve the purchase of the Land as described within
the attached Application to Purchase and Agreement of Sale, pending the outcome of the
environmentally study that is in process and obtaining a Title Policy. The parcel is currently
owned by the Michigan Department of Transportation and necessary to access the east side of
the farm.
H. Request to Approve Winter Tax Levy

I move that the Board of Education approve the following winter tax millage rates:
General operating of 3.4546 mills (commonly referred to as "hold harmless") for principal
residence property and 9.0000 mills for non-principal residence property;
Sinking fund millage rate of 0.3533 mills on all property;
Debt service millage rate of 2.30 mills on all property that includes the first levy of the
recently approved bond proposal.
The millage rates are required to be forwarded to the respective taxing units by September 30,
2020.
