DAERR: Debunking the Middle-class Myth: Why Diverse Schools are Good for All Kids
with Eileen Kugler
Schools that are rich with students from different races, cultures, and life experiences provide unique learning opportunities for all students, both academically and socially. But to reap the benefits of diversity, students of every background must be empowered to learn and to share their insights and perspectives. At the foundation of this student success is a strong school culture where every student and family feels respected and valued. Eileen Kugler will share lessons from diverse schools around the world that highlight the unique strengths of diverse schools that are commitment to equity and excellence.
